Charity and Outreach Ventures

For 2016 - 2017, our chosen charities are the Scottish Association for Mental Health and Teenage Cancer Trust. If you are keen to join in with any of our projects, have any ideas or simply want to know more, please contact our Outreach and Charities Officer Alycia.
BASE
BASE (blind activities support events) is a charity which supports visually-impaired people to enjoy leisure activities. Each week, a group of Club members volunteer at East Sands Leisure Centre assisting a group of visually impaired / blind adults in the pool and at the gym.

Beach and River Cleans
​
Many of our activities take place outdoors so we are eager to make sure the spaces we use are kept in good condition. We regularly take part in beach and river cleans at locations such as Castle Sands, East Sands and the Kinnessburn River.

Cambo Estate
Cambo Estate lies close to the village of Kingsbarns. We volunteer annually on the estate, this year assisting with their Stables redevelopment project. Activities included digging snowdrops and clearing a site which is soon to be turned into a pond.

Naked Calendar
​
Our annual naked calendar features stunning scenery, imaginative set ups and raises money for our selected charities. This year we raised £300!
