Give-it-a-go Sessions
During freshers week, we have two give-it-a-go sessions. These are free to attend and open to everyone, from complete beginners to advanced paddlers.
All you need is a swimming costume and the ability to swim 50 meters
Dates: Wednesday 12th and Friday 14th September
Time: 1pm - 4pm
Location: East Sands Boat Shed
Freshers Trip
The dates for our annual freshers trip to the River Tay are 29th September - 30th September .
With gentle moving water, it is an excellent introduction to river kayaking. The trip culminates in the Grade 3 rapids at Grandtully, however this is completely optional!
No experience is required but it is recommended to come along to a few pool or sea sessions first.
Membership
Membership is £35 for the year or £20 per semester. This covers all weekly pool and sea sessions and the use of club equipment. There's no obligation to pay immediately, come along to a few of our sessions first to see what you think!
Weekend trips are priced separately but usually cost in the region of £5-£25 to cover transport, fuel and accommodation. We endeavor to keep costs minimal and many trips are heavily subsidised.
